  • Lung is a commanding alt-punk rock duo comprised of Kate Wakefield with vocals and electric cello and Daisy Caplan on drums. Lung has a sound that is dark and foreboding. It blends opera with grungy undertones.
  • Tim Wolf is alt rock/americana musician based in Nashville, TN. He grew up on a farm near Huron, South Dakota. Wolf's South Dakota roots influence his song writing. His music contains images of rural life and memories of his childhood including attending a one-room schoolhouse.
  • Scotti Clifford & Spirits Cry is a Native American rock trio based out of the southern Badlands of South Dakota. The band is made up of Scotti Clifford with his son, Welby June and daughter Wahpe Louella on drums. They toured with the band, Dispatch in 2018. They've also performed at the Roxy Theater in West Hollywood, CA and at several other notable spaces across the United States. Their EP, "Stars Fall," was released in 2019 and they are looking forward to recording and releasing music in 2022.
  • “Were I with Thee” is a line from the Emily Dickinson Poem “Wild Nights – Wild Nights.” Michaelle Areyzaga and pianist Dana Brown have put Dickinson’s words, along with the words of Dorothy Parker, Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Gabriela Mistral, and others to song.
  • Spearfish artist Scott Simpson submitted music in 2021, and he's submitted a new song this year. Take a moment to hear Simpson's 2022 Tiny Desk entry "This Growing Old"
