March is a big month for the South Dakota High School Activities Association. Having just wrapped up wrestling, their attention moves to the basketball court, the art room, and the band halls. SDPB is there with all the activity. We begin coverage on March 4-5 with online coverage of Debate and Individual Events at SDPB.org/Debate.

State Visual Arts Gallery is at The Monument, Rapid City March 17-19. Categories include photography, drawing, painting, print making, 3-Dimensional, mixed media, ceramics, traditional cultural art, and more. Look for images of the entries on SDPB’s Flickr site.
All-State Band is Saturday, March 26 at the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center, SDSU, Brookings. All-State qualifiers are organized into two bands and perform a Grand Concert at 4pm, 3 MT. SDPB streams the concert live at SDPB.org/Band and on the SDNet app. The concert is recorded and will air on a date to be determined on SDPB1-TV.
