Ruth Rehn spent 34-years as an assistant executive director for the South Dakota High School Activities Association. After the passage of Title IX, Rehn was a key component in getting girls high school sports sanctioned in the state. Throughout her time with the SDHSAA, she helped add basketball, volleyball, cross country, and competitive cheer and dance under the girls sports umbrella.
