One person died in a house fire in Madison, South Dakota.
According to Madison Fire Chief Randy Minnaert, firefighters received a call around 9:36 p.m. on Monday. KJAM Radio reports the fire engulfed the house, but it did not spread to nearby buildings.
Officials are investigating the cause of the fire. The victim’s name has not been released.
