Linda Pappas Funsch, a professor at Frederick Community College in Maryland, is a specialist in modern Middle East studies and Islamic history.
She lectures about Oman, an Arab country in Western Asia at the mouth of the Persian Gulf, Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the SDSU Alumni Center in Brookings. Her presentation is titled "Oman's Role in Promoting Peace in the Middle East."
