For more than six decades, Dean Mann has been a part of the Howard Wood Relays in South Dakota. Even now at the age of 90, his passion for track and field continues. Mann grew up and attended Sioux Falls (Washington) High School. He even ran track early on for the legendary Howard Wood. Mann would go on to teach, coach, and be an administrator at Washington High School.
