Traffic accidents can throw off your morning or evening commute. A researcher is trying to predict how long an accident will delay traffic and how many miles it will impact. He's doing that through artificial intelligence.

Kaiqun Fu, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in South Dakota State University's Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He joins In the Moment to discuss his research and its real-world applications.
