Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn arrives at federal court in Washington, D.C., on December 18, 2018.

The interview posted above is from SDPB's daily public affairs show, In the Moment with Lori Walsh.

Michael Flynn's Holy War is a new film from FRONTLINE and The Associated Press. It explores the influence and ideology of one of the Republican party's most active allies.

Former Lt. General Michael Flynn served as former President Donald Trump's first national security advisor. You might remember he left his post in less than a month, was exposed by the Mueller probe, pled guilty to lying to the FBI about his contacts with the Russian government, and was eventually pardoned by Trump.

AP correspondent Michelle Smith has been covering the ascent and evolution of Michael Flynn, and she's done that work largely as a local reporter. She joins Lori Walsh on In the Moment.

This film can be seen tonight on SDPB TV at 9 CDT. 8 MDT. It can also be seen online at pbs.org/frontline or on FRONTLINE’S YouTube channel.

Chris is a producer for In the Moment.
Lori Walsh is the host and senior producer of In the Moment.
