Dakotans for Health are promoting a citizens ballot initiative to repeal the state grocery tax. South Dakota is one of two states in the U.S. applying for its full state sales tax rate to grocery purchases.

Due to low usage, flights from Pierre to Minneapolis will be ending this summer. The flights end Jun. 9, 2024 and travelers will be reimbursed for any cancelled flights.

Rapid City's downtown is amid a major update with the construction of Block 5. One year from completion, 6 of 10 floors have been framed.

The Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources requests an extra day at the State Fair. State fair leadership says it will better serve their patrons.
