Due to construction on Interstate 29, the South Dakota Department of Transportation says drivers should expect delays in southeast South Dakota.

Starting March 18, construction will focus on exit 18 near Elk Point. Repairs include pavement restoration and bridge deck replacement.

This work is part of a $4.5 million construction project taking place later this summer. Officials expect the whole project to be completed in November.
