With a national shortage of personal protective equipment, finding the masks, gowns, and face shields to protect workers from the novel coronavirus has become an emergency and an opportunity for community action. Pheasantland Industries is a division of the South Dakota Department of Corrections. Inmate workers are now engaged in making thousands of pieces o personal protective equipment.
