The South Dakota Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) recently elected Constanze Hagmaier to be their new bishop. Rev. Hagmaier had been serving as the Administrative Pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church in Madison.
Hagmaier's six-year term officially begins September 1. She succeeds David Zelmer.
