In The Moment ... November 16, 2017 Show 222 Hour 2

From Facebook depression to the disintegration of privacy, to a shift in the very perception of reality, all of us are impacted by the daily deluge of social media. Teenagers, perhaps, are among our most vulnerable. Dr. Joseph Bottum heads the CLASSICS Institute (Collaborations for Liberty and Security Strategies for Integrity in a Cyber-Enabled Society) at Dakota State University. He's the author of the books "An Anxious Age" and "The Christmas Plains."

He joins us for a conversation about our changing relationship to physical reality and whether or not technology has already raced past its best point.
