In The Moment ... October 3, 2017 Show 190 Hour 1

If anthropology is the study of human society, culture, and development, then why does it often seem at odds with American Indian studies?

There are good reasons for the clash. But Sebastian Braun doesn't think it always has to be so. He's associate professor of Anthropology and Director of the American Indian Studies Program at Iowa State University. Dr. Braun is in Vermillion tonight for a lecture called "Bearing Wisdom on the World: Anthropology and American Indian Studies in the Reflections of Vine Deloria, Jr. and Beatrice Medicine."
