Daisy Caplan and Kate Wakefield of Lung

This interview is from SDPB's daily public-affairs show, In the Moment, hosted by Lori Walsh.

Lung is a commanding alt-punk rock duo comprised of Kate Wakefield with vocals and electric cello and Daisy Caplan on drums. Lung has a sound that is dark and foreboding. It blends opera with grungy undertones.

Kate Wakefield is a classically trained opera singer and Daisy Caplan was a key member of the rock band Foxy Shazam. The band took a break from their travels to speak with Lori Walsh on In the Moment.

Lung is playing at the Cave Collective on March 18th in Rapid City and playing Bismark, Minot and Fargo in April. If you cannot make a show, you can find their music on bandcamp and spotify.
