PACT Act benefits drive happening in South Dakota

This interview originally aired on In the Moment on SDPB Radio.

The PACT Act expands benefits for veterans exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange and other toxic substances during their service.

Accessing these benefits can be difficult. We invite two experts on In the Moment to explain who qualifies and how to file a claim.

Shawn Bohn is the Dakotas Regional Office Director of the Veterans Benefits Administration.

Jill Baker is the founder and leader of Community Action for Veterans (CAV), which is holding a PACT Act benefits drive. The drive is on Aug. 8 at 1700 W. Russell Street in Sioux Falls. Session one is from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and session two lasts from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
