Tickets to the 2023 Boe Forum on Public Affairs are now available to the public.
Augustana University and the Center for Western Studies host the Boe Forum each year to bring in national and world leaders to discuss public issues.
This year’s featured speaker is Dr. Gro Harlem Brundtland. She’s a former prime minister of Norway and director-general of the World Health Organization.
Brundtland travels and lectures as a leading voice on climate change, and is a longtime advocate of sustainable development.
"Sustainability is a topic that interests a broad cross-section of the public and college communities," said Dr. Harry Thompson, executive director of the Center for Western Studies. "We are especially pleased to hear Dr. Gro Harlem Brundtland speak about the way sustainable development provides a growth-positive approach to the future."
This year’s forum is March 14 at the Elmen Center in Sioux Falls. Tickets are free and can be reserved online.
