This interview originally aired on "In the Moment" on SDPB Radio.

New long-distance, high-speed passenger rails have been mapped out for much of the country. These proposed routes bypass South Dakota.

Dan Bilka is the co-founder and president of All Aboard Northwest, an advocacy group for bringing railroad lines to currently forgotten states.

He joins us to discuss the benefits of passenger train lines and how they could become a reality in South Dakota.
