The 52nd Brookings Summer Arts Festival takes place this weekend.
The festival draws over 70,000 people to Brookings every year, organizers say.
This year over 200 artists from across the country will be in attendance. The festival also has 38 food vendors for people to choose from.
Shari Avery, the festival’s publicity director, said it has something for everyone.
“So, say one member of the family really wants to look at all the artwork somebody else would rather just sit and listen to the entertainment. We have free entertainment on three stages,” said Avery.
The festival is July 8 and 9 at Pioneer Park.
