Vertical Freedom is a feature length documentary film highlighting six diverse tower climbers who overcome personal struggle and everyday danger to perform extraordinary work maintaining transmission masts.

The film, directed by Doug Lee of Storybuilt Media is produced in collaboration with NATE: The Communication Infrastructure Contractors Association.

Executive Producer Todd Schlekeway joins In the Moment by phone and shares the story of the people who make such wireless connections possible.

Schlekeway says Vertical Freedom is currently negotiating distribution rights with various streaming services. The film has also been submitted dozens of film festivals.
