This interview is from SDPB's daily public-affairs show, In the Moment, hosted by Lori Walsh.

Gail Archer has traveled the world and made a name for herself as a classical Organist. She's a choral conductor and lecturer whose work draws attention to eastern European traditions.

Archer released an album of Ukrainian music in 2020. She'll be preforming music from her forthcoming Polish album this weekend in South Dakota.

The album "Cantius" is named in honor of St. John Cantius, a popular saint in Poland. It was recorded at Chicago’s St. John Cantius Church. She spoke with Lori Walsh on In the Moment about the significance of playing on the heritage instruments.

You can watch Archer play 2:00 P.M. April 24, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Rapid City. Attendance is free.

Cantius will be available for streaming May 3.
