Becky Hammons was a standout basketball player for Stevens High School but was considered too small to be a major college player. Becky spent 16 years in the WNBA and then became the first female assistant coach in the NBA.
Gloria Riherd wrote a book on Beck called, "Becky Hammon: Shooting for Success." Riherd is part of an Acts of Excellence celebration today at Black Hills State University where she will be discussing her book.
