Self-Produced Song Album Garners NAMA Nomination

A woman now living in Rapid City recorded and produced her own song album, and at the end of the year earned a nomination for a Native American Music Award. Gabrielle Knife tells SDPB’s Victoria Wicks that singing at powwows and learning Lakota values on the Cheyenne River Reservation underlie her success.
