How to watch the 2024 SDHSAA state individual wrestling championships

The 2024 SDHSAA state individual wrestling championships will take place this week, Thursday February 22 through Saturday February 24, in Sioux Falls at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.

This three-day event will feature fourteen weight classes for boys and twelve weight classes for girls. The venue floor will have eight mats to host all the action. With the state team duals portion of high school wrestling already being completed, the format for this year’s individual tournament will look slight different. Saturday’s action will solely consist of the placement and championship matches.

Event Schedule

Thursday
10 am – First Round Matches
4 pm – Quarterfinal Matches
Friday
9:30 am – 1st and 2nd round consolation
3 pm – semifinals and 3rd round consolation
To follow – 4th round consolation
Saturday
10 am – Placement Matches
1 pm – Championship Matches

South Dakota Public Broadcasting will provide streaming of all eight mats throughout the duration of the entire event at sdpb.org/wrestling.

The championship matches on Saturday at 1 pm CT will also air live on SDPB1-TV. Brackets, action and award photos, and video streams will all be available at sdpb.org/wrestling.
