In its 2015 forecast for gasoline and diesel prices, GasBuddy expects a national average of $2.64 a gallon. The 2014 national average was $3.34 a gallon. In addition to a lower national average, GasBuddy's forecast sees May as the only month in which the national average could break $3.oo. January will likely see the lowest monthly average of the year. GasBuddy senior petroleum analyst Patrick DeHaan joined Dakota Midday for details on the forecast and some scenarios that could change the outlook for 2015.
