If you're feeling the stress and strain of the past few weeks, at least part of that is a simple reflection of how much has changed in our daily routines. We've also changed how we feed ourselves and our families. That has local food producers feeling the financial crunch of coronavirus.  Tom Bodensteiner is president of the South Dakota Specialty Producers Association.  

Spearfish Local Aims To Grow Business

A program through Black Hills State University has landed $100 thousand dollar USDA grant to put more local food on the menu in Spearfish.  

The grant helps build a new business that can move fresh local fruits and vegetables from farmers to cafeterias at nearby schools, hospitals, and other facilities.

The Sundance Institute Native Filmmakers Lab is hosting two young writer/directors this week to assist them in preparing for production of their short films.  

Razelle Benally is Oglala and Navajo. She grew up in Rapid City and graduated from Central High School. Razelle says she first picked up a camera in her teens.
