On Tuesday, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced details of direct assistance to farmers and ranchers through the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program. The CFAP will provide up to 16-billion dollars in direct payments to deliver relief to America's farmers and ranchers impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. Joining us to answer questions about eligibility, how to receive assistance, and how this impacts South Dakota, is Kevin McNew, chief economist for the Farmers Business Network.
