Rock and Roll fans across the country, and certainly here in the Midwest, felt the loss of Randall Zwart when he passed away in April after a battle with cancer. Next Saturday, October 17, the public is welcome to a free Celebration of Life for Randall Zwart, complete with music, stories, and more. 

Randall's brother Bob Zwart fronted Zwarte and went on to perform with Judd Hoos. He's joining us this morning to detail next weekend's Celebration of Life for his brother Randall in Sioux Falls.

Badger Clark became South Dakota's first poet laureate in 1937. The son of a Methodist minister, it is said his habit of smoking was part of what kept him from the halls of academia and his individuality found him happily living and writing in a small rustic cabin you can still visit today in Custer State Park.  This weekend you can celebrate the life and poetry of Badger Clark at Badgerstock in Sioux Falls.
