Christine Albert and Chris Gage, otherwise known as Albert and Gage, like many other professional musicians, are at home and unable to travel and perform. So they are improvising with virtual concert performances, fundraising to support the local entertainment community in Austin Texas. They recently spent some time on the Dakota Life virtual stage to share music with their fans in South Dakota.

Chris Gage and Christine Albert are regular performers in the Midwest and work with many nationally known artists on the road and at their home recording studio. Along with music, they will share how their performing lives have changed, how they are reaching out virtually and through social media. For SDPB's Dakota Life, Larry Rohrer connected with Albert & Gage in their Austin studio.

Albert & Gage play some music and tell the story of how they got to where they are. Ruby Wilson and Phyllis Cole-Daitalk talk mindfully reading poetry and read works from their new an anthology of mindfulness poems. South Dakota Photography legend Bill Pay discusses his career in the state. And members of the band Back Alley play a jam.

When Albert and Gage return to South Dakota it's as much for a gathering of friends as it is for a concert. This week is a great example as the husband and wife duo continue their run of dates with the Red Willow Band on their 45th Anniversary Tour Friday at the Sioux River Folk Festival.

Albert and Gage play their own set at the Festival Saturday afternoon.

The popular duo stopped by SDPB's Leo P. Flynn Gallery in Sioux Falls for Moment in Sound.
