"Dedicated Place" On Facebook & The U.S. Vs. Nosal

www.facebookbrand.com

It's been a big week for video on Facebook.  The social networking giant announced it will test a "dedicated place" where users can go when they want to watch a video, whether it's a saved video, a video from a friend or a followed page, or from any other video publisher on Facebook.

Next week, a panel of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals will hear oral argument in the second round of United States v. Nosal.  This time around, the main question is whether accessing an account using a shared password is an unauthorized access under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act.

Kent Osborne and "The Computer Guys" also discussed the future of encryption and ad blocking among other topics.

Kent Osborne is currently the Director of Digital at South Dakota Public Broadcasting.
