2023 SDHSAA State Softball Tournament Brackets

Teams have punched their tickets to the inaugural state sanctioned softball tournaments in South Dakota. All three classes held their SoDak16 playoff round on Tuesday night.

In Class B, three of the teams received automatic bids to the state tournament, because there are only 13 teams in the division.

The state tournament will take place on June 1-3 in Aberdeen. Class AA will take place at Koehler Hall of Fame Field at Northern State University, while Class A and B will take place at the Players Softball Complex.

Nate Wek is currently the sports content producer and sports and rec beat reporter for South Dakota Public Broadcasting. He is a graduate of South Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism Broadcasting and a minor in Leadership. From 2010-2013 Nate was the Director of Gameday Media for the Sioux Falls Storm (Indoor Football League) football team. He also spent 2012 and 2013 as the News and Sports Director of KSDJ Radio in Brookings, SD. Nate, his wife Sarah, and two kids Braxan and Jordy, live in Canton, SD.
