Howard Wood Field in Sioux Falls will play host to the 2023 SDHSAA State Track and Field competition this week on Thursday May 25th through Saturday May 27th. This is the second year all three classes are at the same venue through the duration of the event.

Field event finals will take place on all three days. As for the running portion, most of Thursday and Friday will consist of preliminary heats. There are, however, a few final running events slated for the first two days. The 3200m relay and sprint medley relays will have their finals on Thursday, while the 3200m run and 800m run will have their finals on Friday. All remaining track finals will take place on Saturday.

State Track and Field Schedule

Streaming of the state track meet will begin at 11 am CT on Thursday, 9 am CT on Friday, and 10 am CT on Saturday. All three days will stream live online at sdpb.org/track and on YouTube. Saturday’s action will also air live on SDPB2-TV.

Results, event and award photos, and feature stories will also be made available online at sdpb.org/track throughout the event.
