The SoDak 16 is set for all three classes of high school softball in South Dakota. This year marks the first sanctioned season with the sport in the Mt. Rushmore State.
Much like volleyball and basketball, softball too will follow a final 16 team format to decide who goes to the state tournament. In Class B, because there are only 13 teams, the top three teams have already earned automatic qualifying bids to the state tournament.
All of the SoDak 16 games are scheduled to take place on Tuesday May 23rd. The state tournaments will all take place in Aberdeen on June 1-3.
