How to watch the 2022 SDHSAA State Cheer and Dance Competition

Watertown high school will play host to the 2022 SDHSAA state cheer and dance competition this Friday and Saturday, October 21-22 with two classes of competition. Class A will perform on Friday evening, while Class AA’s routines are scheduled for Saturday.

This event will air live on SDPB2-TV and stream live online at SDPB.org/cheerdance. Friday’s coverage will begin at 5 pm CT and Saturday’s broadcast will start at 11 am CT.

Results will be posted online at the conclusion of the award ceremony each day at SDPB.org/cheerdance. Action and award photos will also be shared online for viewing at the end of the event.

Nate Wek is currently the sports content producer and sports and rec beat reporter for South Dakota Public Broadcasting. He is a graduate of South Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism Broadcasting and a minor in Leadership. From 2010-2013 Nate was the Director of Gameday Media for the Sioux Falls Storm (Indoor Football League) football team.
