Some 20 years ago, then-president Bush introduced the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). The foreign aid plan, which saved 25 million lives, is now under threat. PEPFAR funding expires at month's end, and House Republicans are using abortion politics to oppose the program's renewal. HIV and AIDS scholar Steven Thrasher, joins the show to discuss the global impact of PEPFAR.
