Rural communities, emerging technologies & digital spring cleaning

On today's In the Moment...

How can rural communities lead the charge with emerging technologies? Josh Citrak, director of innovator empowerment at Northern State University, has some ideas.

Chad Carpenter, D.D.S., is looking to bring a new technology to his dental practice. He worked with two South Dakota Mines students on a prototype for remote robotic dental surgery.

The product would allow more dental care access in rural and isolated communities. It could even help give patients more control during their procedures.

We have a tech radio conversation with Jeff Litterick. Litterick is a network architect with South Dakota's Bureau of Information and Telecommunications. He talks about how to give your devices a digital spring cleaning. And he looks into how passwords could one day become obsolete.

We'll revisit a conversation with Joy Harjo to mark the end of National Poetry Month.

Plus, Fresh Tracks bring us new music from Boy Genius, Jethro Tull and more.
