On today's show …

As the weather turns colder we seek ways to stay warm. We talk with the state fire marshal about what you should do before turning on our furnace or plugging in those space heaters and electric blankets.

We consider the humble dung beetle. Lura Roti meets one rancher who recognizes its value and is doing what he can to bring beetle populations back.

On Wednesday, the director of the Ness School of Management and Economics at SDSU Joe Santos will talk with the president of the Minneapolis Federal Reserve about inflation, the labor market, and the economy and how it relates to the federal reserve. We talk with Joe Santos and preview the conversation.

The Lakota Music Project has released a CD. Maestro Delta David Gier stopped by the SDPB studios in Sioux Falls to talk about the CD release and about how sharing what we love can build bridges across cultures.
