The National Science Foundation continues to fund physics research at Augustana University.

The university's physics department received more than $595,000 to continue funding research opportunities for three faculty members.

University officials say the funding will support summer research opportunities for at least 18 students over the next three years.

Their projects investigate dark matter, atomic forces, and molecular imaging.
