In May, state tourism officials said indications were that South Dakota would have a good summer season. There was a strong demand for vacation guides and e-newsletters and traffic on department-run websites was on the increase. South Dakota Tourism Secretary Jim Hagen talks about how the summer tourism season has gone so far. He'll also discuss the efforts to bring Chinese visitors to South Dakota and the Midwest tour of the Mount Rushmore mascots.
