Three-time NASCAR champion Tony Stewart plans on racing a sprint car at Huset’s Speedway. This is the first time Stewart has ever been scheduled to race at event in South Dakota. Stewart is slated to compete against some local and national talent participating in the race. Greg Beesley is a track side announcer at Huset's.
"He’s gonna draw a huge crowd, there’s a lot of people that don’t ever get to see a guy of the caliber of Tony Stewart. It’s an amazing accomplishment for the World of Outlaws and Huset’s Speedway," Announcer Beesley says.
The track side announcer says Stewart’s career started on dirt tracks so this should be familiar to him. Beesley says the event always attracts a crowd but racing fans wont want to miss this one. The event is scheduled for Wednesday July 3.
