South Dakota Magazine has published “South Dakota 125: A Pictorial History.” The book tells the history of South Dakota through photographs. One picture represents each year, beginning in 1889 and continuing to today. The book shows the buffalo ranchers, bridge builders, cowgirls, war heroes, artists and all who make South Dakota unique.
