The Return Of The Bison To Wind Cave National Park

On Friday night at 7:00, Tom Farrell, Chief of Interpretation at Wind Cave National Park, is presenting a program called, "The Return of the Bison: The Decision That Shaped Wind Cave National Park," followed by the award-winning movie "The Vanishing Prairie" at the Wind Cave National Park Visitor Center. On Saturday morning at 9:00, a tour/hike entitled "Exploring the Past: A Visit to the Forgotten Wind Cave National Game Preserve," is being offered at no charge. Also on Saturday, there is an outdoor art show honoring the bison in Hot Springs at the Mueller Center. There will be food vendors, displays, and activities for children and adults culminating with an evening show at 7:00 by Jack Gladstone, Montana's Blackfeet Troubadour. Farrell visits about his presentation and the rest of the weekend's activities at WCNP as well as the Park's day-to-day tourist attractions.
