In The Moment ... April 28, 2020 Show 806 Hour 2
Governor Kristi Noem unveiled a "Back to Normal" plan for South Dakota Tuesday, stressing that she wants to put decision-making back "into the hands of people." Schools and businesses would be allowed to host small gatherings while continuing to encourage social distancing. However, it's not a "one size fits all" plan. New outbreaks will preclude the plan from being initiated where there is a threat to public health. Do you have a full understanding of the governor's plan? We're joined by two of our Dakota Political Junkies. Jon Schaff, professor of Political Science at Northern State University, and Tom Dempster, he served District 9 in the South Dakota Senate for four-terms.
