In The Moment ... April 14, 2017 Show 072 Hour 1

Author John F. Ross joins the show.  On the heels of SDPB-TV's airing of The Great War on American Experience, In The Moment welcomes John F. Ross, author of Enduring Courage: Ace Pilot Eddie Rickenbacker and the Dawn of the Age of Speed.  Edward Vernon Rickenbacker (October 8, 1890 – July 23, 1973) was an American fighter ace in World War I and Medal of Honor recipient. With 26 aerial victories, he was America's most successful fighter ace in the war. He was also considered to have won the most awards for valor by American during the war according to the April 2017 VFW magazine in their special World War I edition.

Live music and conversation with Ted and Alice Miller.  The Northeast Nebraska singer/songwriter duo write songs and create music about the life they know and live.  “We can't really decide what genre we want to be in but we do know we love harmonies!”  Ted and Alice Miller have two shows in the area this spring.  They perform at the African Methodist Episcopal Church in Yankton on May 6.  Tonight, they perform in Hartington, Nebraska, along with Bob Walkenhorst, front man for The Rainmakers!
