When SDPB's Lee Strubinger isn't tracking down government officials and politicians for his day job, he's usually diving into the seemingly endless, decades-spanning, live concert catalog of the Grateful Dead. So, no doubt, Strubinger was excited when the official Grateful Dead vault released the coveted Cornell University '77 show. It's considered by many the Holy Grail of Dead shows. Drive through South Dakota and you're bound to encounter remains of our rich history. A local photographer captures the nostalgic, Midwestern look through an old film camera. His work has been on display all over the U.S. and in Australia. SDPB's Chynna Lockett joins Seth Harwood as he hunts for new subjects.
Country music recording artist Kyle Evans visited the Huron Arena in April of 1994 for an interview with Chuck Anderson. Now, you can hear that conversation on our website at SDPB.org. Chuck Anderson joins us for the conversation.
Plus, poetry from Norma Wilson.
