The 2020 South Dakota Festival of Books has been a celebration of reading, writing, and gathering in a virtual space. One of the featured authors is Jerri Bell, a retired naval officer, author, and editor of the book "It's My Country Too: Women's Military Stories from the American Revolution to Afghanistan." She is also editor of "O-Dark-Thirty," the literary journal of the Veterans Writing Project.
