Experts Believe Snow Could Melt Quickly

The forecast calls for warmer temperatures near the weekend allowing for recent snow to melt.  Meteorologist Dave Hintz with the National Weather Service says he doesn't expect the snow to stick around too long.

"What we’re forecasting for highs now, is probably going to change a little bit once we see exactly where the deep snow pack is because that’ll have an affect on the overall temperatures for the remainder of the week. So we’ve got some general temperatures that are out there but once this event is passed and we can see where the heavy snow is versus where it isn’t, then we can really latch onto our temperatures and see how fast we’re going to warm up," Hintz says.

Hintz says he can't predict if this is the last significant snow of the season. He says we've been teased with some nice days and consistent spring temps are coming.
