Just when it seemed like the 2014 campaign season was calming down a bit, things have gotten interesting again. On Tuesday independent gubernatorial candidate Mike Myers held a press conference announcing that his new running mate is former Republican gubernatorial candidate Lora Hubbel.

Also former Republican U.S. Senate candidate Annette Bosworth’s husband Chad Haber has announced his intentions to challenge Attorney General Marty Jackley in the fall.

And independent U.S. Senate candidate Larry Pressler held a press conference issuing an invitation to President Obama to come to South Dakota to discuss the Affordable Care Act.
