One of the premier projects of the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra is the Lakota Music Project. This week, the orchestra travels to Sisseton with the program Dvořák in America. Maestro Delta David Gier and musicologist Joe Horowitz (author of "Classical Music in America: A History) join Dakota Midday to talk about American music, the symphony as humanities organization, and the power of the Lakota Music Project.
