State legislators are studying accessibility to mental health services in South Dakota in a comprehensive, strategic way this summer. State Senator Deb Soholt has spearheaded much of the efforts to address mental health issues in the state. She's also currently chairing the Telehealth and Telemedicine Task Force. The goal of the group is to examine how to best leverage telehealth and telemedicine to meet needs and save lives.
